Dear Quinn at 6 months

Bad Blogging Mommy! But we have had such a wonderful busy Fall filled with a long trip to Rhode Island, a beautiful wedding, and two blissful visits, first from Jesse, Nico and Juliette and then from Sunshine, Kevin, Sage and Sumner. But more on that later (although I'm not making any promises)

Back to my sweet little peach, Quinn.

At your 6month visit you weighed in at 17lb, 4oz (75%) and were 27 1/4" tall (95%). Head, 17 1/4" = giant.

You are now sitting up, my big girl! You use your hands to brace yourself and to hold up your head but you are doing it!

You roll over from your back to your tummy as soon as you are put down and like to hang out there. I'm not sure if you can roll front to back, I'm not sure if you try.

You are eating very well. You really like peas, acorn squash, pears, apples, bananas and avocado. There isn't anything that you haven't liked so far.

You still enjoy laying on the jive-a-jive (playmat) and have started actually JUMPING in the jump-a-roo. You also enjoy holding rattles and inspecting them. You also like soft toys including Clare's mermaid (uh oh.) Maybe Santa will bring you your own so that there isn't a war.

You're hair is coming in more and more and is looking brown. You're eyes are getting darker too! They could even turn brown but for now are a dark gray/blue! We'll see.

You grabbed your foot for the first time this morning. Into the mouth next?

You have given up the binkie and now suck your third and forth finger together. Even between bites of food. It's very cute (except for the food part, that's pretty gross.)

You are a drooling machine. Your shirt is constantly soaked down to your belly button. You are a VERY juicy baby!

Your favorite sound to make a deep throaty gurgle and you LOVE when we make it back to you. You also said "DA" just today!

Time is flying by my little angel. You are such a joy!

Love, Mama
